It has been a busy couple of weeks and here are just a few things that have happened. I will hopefully post pictures of the dance festival and other things in the future.
Dallin hiked to the top of Mt. St. Helen's on Wednesday and had a great experience. He took it slow but made it to the top. He was one of 3 that made it. Five boys quit and didn't make it.
Dallin took a picture of Spirit Lake from the top of the mt.
On the 4th of July we headed to Fort Vancouver to watch the fireworks. Alaina packed her backpack and when she had carried it a couple of blocks from the car she complained that it was too heavy so her dad was kind enough to carry it for her. When we got to the fort they checked everyone's bags and guess what we found in Alaina's backpack. Notice the pink 3lb weight.
When Todd asked her why she brought it, she replied, "to work out dad."
I was cracking up at Alaina's weight! Had to call Andrew over to show him. What a funny girl!

Good Times! The kids are growing up so fast. I too noticed... are there not children missing in the pic?? Probable off doing their own thing.

ReplyDeleteAlaina is a funny girl. That was a great idea to take a picture of what was in her backpack. She can definitely hold her own that is for sure.
Way to go Dallin! What a stud to make it to the top! And Alaina, whew! Cracked me up!!! If only I kept one of those in my purse so that I could "work out" more often!!! And love the picture of you guys in front of the falls. You guys look great!
